You should not try to open a new account until you have correctly closed the old one. You can recover a deleted account assuming you have the original credentials. You would need to recover the old account and then make the changes so you can open your new account.

Thank you man! Will I be able to recover the deleted account if it's been more than 30 days after deletion? I'm not sure if that's possible, and if not, then what should I do?

While I am not a man, I'm happy to help. You can recover a deleted account for up to one year in most cases. Unless there were some interactions with FaceBook management that caused the deletion you should be able to recover your account. The information is found at those links for how to deal with it.

Oh my bad! Thank you for that information. I hope it will work since Facebook clearly states “If it's been less than 30 days since you initiated the deletion, you can cancel your account deletion. After 30 days, your account and all your information will be permanently deleted, and you won't be able to retrieve your information.”
