Parents are helping their children to set up under-age profiles on social networking site Facebook, Children's Minister Tim Loughton has said.
This meant that children were getting involved in social media at too young an age, he suggested.
He added that parents had a responsibility to monitor youngsters' online activity.

hilarious! that the authorities have just realised this.
virtually every child i know over the age of about 8 has a facebook page.

actually technically that is not a regular facebook profile page, that is a 'famous person' page, similar to a business page.

Must be why a child that age ( Harper Seven Beckham- Date of Birth- 10th July, 2011 ) can supposedly "like" so many things that make it's parents money, or are part of there businesses..
So now all their merchandise buyers and every word followers want a page for their kids too..
