PayPal has confirmed it has launched "Checkout with Crypto" in the U.S. allowing users to checkout with cryptocurrency, in addition to other methods in the PayPal wallet.
Building on the ability to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrency with PayPal, customers using Checkout with Crypto can check out safely and easily, converting cryptocurrency holdings to fiat currency1 at checkout, with certainty of value and no additional transaction fees. Checkout with Crypto will automatically appear in the PayPal wallet at checkout for customers with sufficient cryptocurrency balance to cover an eligible purchase.

If I read it correctly, you have to hold the crypto-currencies in your PayPal account but it will be converted to the seller's currency at checkout.

Any coincidence that Elon Musk who was previously PayPal's largest share holder accepts Bitcoin since a week for Tesla's cars?

I don't think it can really get much harder than it already is. There is nothing available, anything that you may find is priced easily at at least twice the fair market value. I saw one listed online, then shortly after found the exact same GPU sold as part of complete gaming computer, with hard drives, ram and windows installed for the same price as the GPU alone. It is nuts! What's needed now is good bubble bursting!
