You have a time limit during which you can issue a refund. After that, you have to use send money.

I stopped using PayPal to revive money from customers several months ago, so I don't know if they've shortened (or eliminated) the window or not.

How long ago did you receive the payment?

I get PayPal orders most everyday, this was the first time that the issue refund links were gone. The order I wanted to issue the refund on was from yesterday. They make it more of a pain now , they don't even capture the customers email address, you have to copy and paste it into the send money screen. Do they really need that last few cents or dollar or so? PayPal now fits in with all the other fat cat banking outfits now.

I noticed that the other day too... I don't know what the deal is, but there's still a link further up the page next to the buyer info... and that still takes you to a simple refund page.

OK, now I see the refund link, I swear I'm like an old trail horse, don't confuse me with a new trail. So Pay Pal was just trying to fool me, Ok I get fooled easily.

paypal has to be one of the worst run, yet successful businesses ever. Its like they make money in spite of themselves. They do this kind of stuff all the time. They move functionality all around, put up confusing and often flat out incorrect wording and links, make it damn near impossible to submit a ticket, and dont even get me started on how many orders we lose because customers get confused by their POS payment screens. Oh and i almost forgot the 1995-esque load times on pages

I agree, I HATE paypal. I continue to be amazed simply how slow their system is. We had to totally abandon the shipping label system they use because it was costing us so much time for pages to load.
