Several of the affiliates have launched database feeds recently, i'd like to gather the prices from those feeds and ad a price comparison feature to my reviews.
I can modify scripts easily so it doesn't have to be "ready out of the box" at all but i'd prefer a php/mysql based code. Before I start re-building the wheel and design my own I'd like to know if this is readily available already, I haven't found it yet today.
Even if those affiliates sell similar or identical products, it might be very complicated to identify those items as identical, because I'd assume they do not use identical product-ids or any other helpful feature.
Also make sure you don't violate any contracts you may have clicked as "accepted" unread.
I'd also suggest that none of the affiliates will be very lucky with such a system, since they can be sure, they won't sell a single item, which costs more than at a competitor's. I think it is much better to view those affiliates as true partners and launch their data-material for the benefit of both sites: Yours and theirs.
So my advice would be: Don't just launch masses of (template driven) data. The internet is full of such sites and the product-descriptions of your affiliate partners will immediately be recognized by google as duplicate, because they exist on thousands of other sites. Instead try to concentrate on some very few product-lines, where you have considerable knowledge in, and where you thus may provide interesting unique additional content for the benefit of your visitors and the ranking of your pages.
