I am up against a hard deadline for an e commerce site. I need to get my ranking up for a very few select keywords before Christmas. Its a very narrow niche so I dont have a lot of places to get good links.

I dont normally do directory listings and I dont know what value they may hold if any.

Are directories worth the value anymore besides direct traffic?

A Google search shows many directory choices a direct niche search for my main keyword shows 2 or 3 and they look substandard at best.
