Directories in the last couple of years have really gained in popularity with web developers and also gained in notoriety. If a directory owner is really serious about building a quality directory that can be used for consumers; would it be considered more respectable if the directory had no ads at all? It would seem to me that the directory is going in a completely different direction than the majority of directories and would possibly stand out more.
