I have an issue which has bugged me all day - hopefully someone on here can point me in the direction of a solution as I have been totally stumped most of today :(

I use VB6 powered GUI as a means of 'accessing' a mysql db using an odbc connection, my xp box works fine, vista works ok, but I now have a newer box - windows 7, and whatever trick I do, the access to the DB will not work, the sql server runs fine & VB6 functions great, but the connection from odbc to mysql just doesn't function.

Any Ideas are greatly appreciated.
