I couldnt really find a place to ask this, but am hoping it fits in here at least somehow:

Whenever I try to delete a contact from MSN or ICQ, the contact usually is back sometime later on. I often added people, who I never talk to again (yeah I know my mistake), but am wondering how to clean my messenger lists (other than getting a new screen name).

Is my data stored in a database of MSN or ICQ, thus not only on my computer..and if I delete a contact from my computer, for some reason its still in their database and thus back if I log in later?
