I've found some really useful information here in the past and I hope someone can help me.
I want to develop a web form that will be able to take user inputed variables and then do financial calculations to provide the user with various outputs. This will involve referencing several financial tables for interest rates and other factors. There will also be several calculations involved to come up with the user output.
What is the best way to develop a web form that will accomplish all this? What tools should I be looking to work with to develop the form as well as hosting the financial tables that will be referenced? I only want to go as complex as I need to go to accomplish the task. Any ideas?

First, decide what your resouces are:
- are you the head programmer? You have the kind of programming IT it is going to take to work on something of this caliber?
- are you outsourcing this to a independent or inhouse team?
- what OS is your server running? That will hint towards what lang you should be focusing in on.
- the web form is probably the last thing to actually get "polished". The function of the tool will dictate what the form will look like.
