I've got a simple Xoops based website which uses MYSQL as its db.

If someone posts news/comments and then I then edit that entry, is the previous original entry accessible or retrievable in any way?

My understanding is that it's simply overwritten and gone forever.

Is this correct, or am I mistaken?
