Sun will pay approximately $800 million in cash in exchange for all MySQL stock and assume approximately $200 million in options, for a total transaction value of $1 billion. The transaction is expected to close at the end of the third quarter or early fourth quarter of Sun's fiscal 2008. The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions
