pros and cons of upgrading mysql

We have a stable functional install of mySQL 4.1, and are wondering what the pros and cons are for upgrading to 5.0. As I understand it, 5.0 isn't any more secure or reliable, but offers new features (views, triggers, stored procedures) and some incremental general performance improvements.

Anyone have any experience making the upgrade?

Any reasons to do it for sure?

And reasons to avoid it until 5.0 is more mature?

Thanks,

MySQL 5.0.15 was released for production use on 19 October 2005. We are now working on MySQL 5.1, which is currently in beta.

How much more mature do you want it? ;)

The reference manual has a changelog that might help you decide too. I've been running 5.0 on a live site since general availability (GA) without issue.
