oddly, this works fine on our production server (W2003/mysql5.x) but doesn't on our development server (W2003/mysql5.x).

Am I missing something in a configuration setting here?

Can't find help at Google on this one.

For some reason it fails on decimal fields only. On the dev server only. Same DB, same code.

Could this be an ODBC problem perhaps in the mySQL myODBC driver?
