mysql runing on fedora core 5.

with mysql version 4 i have in the process list at least 6 - 12 demons runing of mysql.

since i updated to version 5.0.27-log i have 1 mysql demon runing.

And since the update that hole thing is slow like hell.

Anyone any idea what could be the reason or do i have to add something to my.cnf file?
