Do a search for "zip code database" or something similar. There are quite a few of them out there offering the data you are requesting.

As I needed something precise and kept updated (States, Counties, population etc..) I found a great src about (20 USD) I got it in XL, CSV and flat file format if you are interested search for: US Cities & Communities Database
