I have a car website and have an Access database of 1500 cars, I have been offered 6000 cars in a CSV file, whats the best way to convert that data into my current Access database and what software if any do I need

Access lets you import a CSV file directly. I would suggest that you make a copy of your original database and work with the copy, if something goes wrong then your original is still intact. Just go through all the steps carefully and you should be fine.
