Currentli i am using SQL2k3 which contains plenty of data,now what i need is to upgrade the SQL 2k Server to SQL 2k5 server with out lossing any previous data.I am very much new to this so i request any one to help me in doing this where i want to use the previous instance(SQL 2k) of the database for the SQL 2k5.And i am aslo having one more quesry,I have SQL2k installed on one system and now i want to install SQL 2k5 on other system but want to acces to SQL 2k data.
I want to know why is upgrade advisor is used for?
