IE IMG Issue, Bug, Annoyance?.

I have a three column CSS layout. When I add a graphic in the middle of the center column text block -- the main content area -- in IE7 it gets pushed down to just below the end of the right hand column, leaving an expanse of white space between the top of the added graphic and the text above. What is the fix for this? In FF there is no problem?

Are you floating the graphic and is the outer container a fixed width? Can you provide relevant CSS, HTML and doctype?

I added a float to the image and it did the trick.
