There was a time back in the day when I remember looking at CMS' and PHP Nuke was always the one that everyone seemed to talk about. Now I hardly hear it mentioned anymore. What happened to it? Is it still worth while?

When I think of PHP Nuke I conjure the image of a big block of swiss cheese. Why? That's what their security is like...full of holes. ;)
You probably don't hear as much because much of the development has been forked to other projects that are considered to be better. There are also a lot more CMS platforms out there today that do a better job IMHO.

I would like to build a site on PHPNuke because I like the look of it. Will I just get hacked if security is so bad?
