I wanna challenge myself to be content writer, basically, I'm starting on scratch. What are the best free tools I could use?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld.
Tools for the best content writers include a good quality dictionary, a thesaurus, pencil and paper, and then spend time doing research, imho.

Know your subject. Have the ability to create it.
Pencil and paper is a good place to start.
Computers won't make that process any different... after all, computers are just "pencil and paper" on steroids.
On the other hand, if you are looking for software to "spin content", you won't find many here that use that type of software.

As with any venture, start by asking yourself if you think you’d be any good at it. What skills and knowledge do you already have? What do you feel you need or lack?

Belaboring the obvious: You already have the best in hand (so to speak):
Your brain, your passion, your knowledge, and ability to communicate.
These are not only free, they are yours by birthright and education. Can't ask for better tools than that!

I'd like to mention the Grammarly extension as well. Helps you to eliminate misspellings, wrong punctuation. Plus it has more advanced features that indicate the parts with wrong word choice and stylistic. Very useful.
