How google differentiate the same content on sites

afaik, Google saves the content of the page in the index in the form of keywords. Now for a same topic, the keywords are going to be almost the same. Now if the multiple site write on the same topic then how it differentiate the content, they will look exactly the same as far as keywords are concerned. My point is if a take out the content of a page from a site and write that in my words, will it considered as content scrapping.

Not only. They also save the full literal text. There can be thousands of different sites talking about viagra; it's only when they talk about it in exactly the same words that you've got a problem.

agree, but how the ehow is coming on 1st page since i have seen that their content is completely copied from different sites.
