The current number 1 player on google has already covered the topic comprehensively - going wide and deep conceptually. Totalling abount 1500 pages of content.

What is the best strategy to stand a chance of knocking them off the top spot, if they have already covered all the main points in this niche.

Is it worth attacking it from completely new angles or should i cover all the concepts they cover but more thoroughly and written in a much better style?
