Doubt Regarding Financial News Websites

Gathering Information From Bank Websites, Is it against TOS?

Hi,

I run a financial website where I post news regarding mutual fund schemes launched by different companies. For example, I would post an article comparing two schemes from two different companies with my unique views. In another post I would be listing out recent profitable schemes from a company.

Do these kind of posts will violate TOS of these sites by any manner. I am not talking about reproducing a content but gathering information and applying my unique views to these information.

Please someone help.

First of all read their TOS. Secondly, as long as you cite them as the source, then it maybe covered under fair use doctrine. For example, you could say, "According to Company A, investment in product X may yield a return of p% but if you want a much higher return with a bigger risk then consider investing in product Y but 5p% return, though, you may lose all your money."
