Is there any free apps that would extract all pages of a site and insert them within a word doc? We need to get estimates on translation, anyway I can atleast get a word count of an entire site?

Yes, you may get the word count. Just google out some sites, i'm sure you would find some. :)

Almost all decent translation companies can do the wordcount from a URL. The standard way is to download the entire website and use a software program that does the wordcount directly from the HTML etc pages.
