The ONLY js I have on my site is framebuster. For that very reason.

Not for profit. Provides site in a frame. Google do something very similar with their images search when you click on a pic. It's not deceptive and no-one is having their content stolen and passed off as someone else's.

I'd say its fine if the site owner agrees.

Do the web thing. Provide a link. Don't display their content under your umbrella. This is not verbotten, but is not happy times either. I don't like it, run framebuster to prevent it, etc etc etc.

@georged: The pass off/(theft) is the frame. That simple. I don't allow google to do that or any other website (if I can prevent it).

Somethng else to consider, the content on these niche websites is NOT completely unique; therefore, if a site said no I would find another site with the same material to say yes.

Hypothetical question: As a site owner, would you pass up being framed to not be included in the #1 used database about your niche, the site where everyone goes to find the best sites about your niche? Would you pass this up due to your strict guidelines about being in a frame?

Remember, there are no company logos on the navigation bar...it is only there so users can easily sift through the websites they had previously selected. The navigaion bar would have Prev and Next buttons, as well as an HTML Select bar. It would make viewing 20 sites rapidly much easier than having to click 20 different links and closing windows afterwards; however, I would consider the latter option if it was the only choice I had due to frame hatred.

Geez, you don't have to mean about it. A simple no would suffice.

One of my pages makes +50 bucks/day framed in another site, and the framing situation is a lot worse than what I'm planning. Do I care I'm framed? Hell no! I'm getting traffic from it and my ads are still being shown. I'm not sure why everyone is so anti-frames, especially if I'm going to go out of my way to say the conent is not mine and basically advertise the site it comes from.

This seems to be a touchy subject as I think many people have had their content scraped or stolen. I guess I'll just drop the topic.

If you put a frame buster script on your 50 buck a day page, you'll still have a 50 buck a day page minus the frame. That is unless the referring site removes your link.

I don't let anyone frame any of my pages, including Google images.
