Ive have been getting requests for a "data dump" of our product catalogue from my website.

At 1st it seemed like a good idea it would insure our distributors would have "correct and up to date data" but i am concerned that if they use our product descriptions we or even they may be penalized for duplicate content.

Would it be a good idea to ask for a link back to our site in return for the data to hopefully prove ownership of the content thats being used?
