Has anyone here ever discovered your original content you posted on a blogspot blog was lifted and used elsewhere? Did you have any problems when you reported to the offending site's ISP, filed DMCA to Google, etc.?

I had a blog on Blogspot once that I deleted and moved to a new/better location - and the old blog that I deleted was immediately taken up by spammers. Then to all of my visitors - when they went to the old blog it looked like me - and gave me a bad rep. I emailed Blogspot - and within one day they deleted the questioned blog. They gave me excellent service - and I was able to take back the blog. It was a mistake of mine to delete the blog, but was pleasantly surprised with the service they gave me. So in short - you shouldn't have any problems if you just report to them that it is copyrighted content, point them to your original content - and see what happens. They "should" give you good service unless I was just amazingly lucky...

Have you enabled RSS/Atom feeds on your blogspot blog? And do you ping various services with each new post? If you answered yes to one or more of the previous two questions then you are practically asking for your content to be 'syndicated'.
