Getting Blog Platform to Take Down Infringing Site

A certain very popular blogging platform hosted a blog that not only infringed on my photography copyrights but also was created specifically to mock, taunt & humiliate me.

I wrote about this here in this thread [webmasterworld.com]. I just wanted folks to know that after the doofus repeated his infringements five different times that the unnamed blogging platform finally got tired of his antics & took down the site. It required 5 diff. DMCA notices & was a real pain in the ass, but it worked.

I was afraid the company would merely remove the offending image & forgive the trespass (which they did the first 4 times). But finally they just got sick of him & canned his ass.

Oh, I feel bad for you. As a person who is in the art industry as well, I understand how you feel. It shouldn't take that much notices to put down stolen content
