Is wikipedia content copyrighted?
Can you use their text on your own website as long as you link to it?
How could content which can be easily edited or modified be copyrighted?

All text is available under the GNU Free Documentation License. There's a link at the bottom of the Wiki page that explains it.

There are hundreds or thousands of copies of Wikipedia content.

I wouldn't use content from it as most of the information there is not confirmed! Even Mr. Brin, the co-founder of Google said that the stuff written about him are not 100% true.

Why would you do that anyway? What site could be using Wikipedia's content and for what reason?
