Amazon Mechanical Turk is an innovative system that automates tasks that require human intelligence. Once in the system, tasks are offered to workers who are paid a certain amount for each task successfully performed.
In a recent article on news.com, the author mentions a few tasks that he performed in a test of the system that seem a bit shady to me:
10 cents to post an article entitled "Should I buy a radar detector?" that was written by a radar detector merchant to blog and article submission sites.
Hmmm, does this really require human intelligence? Or just a whole lot of different IP addresses?
Lots of "article writing" or "article rewriting" tasks.
Well, maybe we've found the answer to the repeated question, "where to I get articles rewritten cheaply...".
