Evidence that I wrote content first

... what to do when the wayback machine don't help!

I've become concerned about how I can prove that I am the original author of my content in the event that somebody copies it and claims that it is their own.

From reading this forum I've seen that the wayback machine on archive.org is a good resource. However, this does not archive my entire site and only updates sporadically (eg, it has stored updates on about 4 consecutive days then nothing for 2 months then another flurry of updates).

Is there another company that offers an archive service which can be used to prove that content appeared on my site before somebody else's (either free or for a modest fee).

Thanks

Marvin

Spend the money to obtain a registered copyright. It's not that expensive, and would offer more piece of mind than relying on someone else to archive your work for you.
