One of our service oriented website is updated with new informative articles related to our industry from time to time. Up till now, we have not had any interactions with people who submit their own articles or those who want to become a part of the site.

However, we are now thinking of creating a newsletter to touch base with these 15 - 20 individuals who had previously written to us. We have their previous correspondences hence their email ids.

My question :
1) Are there any easy-to-implement free newsletter scripts available online for sending out 10 - 20 emails?
2) What is the best message that can be sent out to invite these old contacts for becoming a part of our mailing list?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Less than 20 emails? Surely it would be quicker to write your text, put it in the clip board and paste it to individual emails that download and test a script.

It is always worth stating clearly that a message is "one time" and that users are not being added to a mailing list.

On one such mail out to a handful of prospects I did explicitly state that people should not reply to that mail box unless they were specifically opting in and still got a string of responses saying "no thanks".
