Hi there.

I'm new to WebmasterWorld.com, so maybe I posted this in the worng category. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm looking to launch an online product/service. Specifically it is an online service in the Web Statistics / Analytics / Usability category.

I need to write a Terms of Service agreement. There's an awful lot of scenarios to be aware of. Has anyone in here got some advice, link to articles, do's and dont's and so on?

Thanks in advance.

Everyone will probably tell you to contact your lawyer but that's usually easier said than done.

When I need specific agreements and terms of service documents I first check some websites that are in the same industry as mine and grab theirs. Once I have a selection I take the bits that pertain to my situation and build my own.
It's a good way of discovering some situations to cover that you might not have thought of otherwise.

I usually do the same, find it exclusively useful.
