Hi,

i'm working on this site that sits somewhere between craigslist and a forum, and the topic is travel related and gets mostly an english speaking audience.
In the past, i had tried to finance it via ads, but this didnt work out at all because of adblockers, and the ads that where available to my site didnt really match, so i got very few clicks and fewer conversations.

However the engagement on this site is there, people are using it and similar sites do work on other (non-english) countries where they charge money in some form for using this site.

I was thinking of asking for voluntairy donations via paypal; does someone have experience with this? I'm not a lawyer, so can someone point me to the legal requirements the site must meet?
