Amazon Put a Limit on Reviews Per Week

Amazon has put a llimit on the number of reviews it'll accept per week in a further move to clamp down on fake reviews. Up to five reviews per week will be accepted if the products are not bought through Amazon.

I think one of the contributors of the "fake review" problem was/is Amazon's failure to resist the social media factor by allowing reviews from even those who cannot document they even purchased the product.

If they only allowed reviews from those who actually bought the product, this issue would be limited. Of course the number of reviews wouldn't be as high and stats prove that positive reviews sell products.
