I've seen forums on sites that allow people to vote up or down questions people ask or whatever. I haven't seen any links on the bottom to indicate what forum software they are using or maybe its separate scripts they are adding on or maybe they are custom written.

I don't know if people are still not allowed to mentioned specific software, if not, maybe someone could share a hint for what to search for.

If specific applications can be mentioned, I'd love to hear people's experiences with them.

I've sort of been away for a while too - so maybe I'm asking about something that's already been done to death. I'm not talking about trying to start my own Digg or something though - this would be related to a specific site as an added feature.
