possible scam?

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything similar here.

My forum seems to be experiencing a high level of posts saying the same thing...

"From Mistress to Mrs." is based on the journey of author, Sarah J. Symonds, as she travels the road to romance and redemption. Already the author of the non-fiction book, "Having An Affair?"

Ive had a look into this phrase and Google is returning a lot of results, so I assume others are experiencing the same frustration I am.

Sorry if this is not the correct place for this thread but I really want to make people aware. Plus if anyone has any guidence on how to stop this please let me know.

it's clearly a promotion for a book

and i suspect you are trying to promote it too in a subtle way

Hi,

Thank you for replying and I am sorry you have read this as a publicity attempt. I deliberately did not add the the full paragraph of content I am being spammed with in my initial post as I did not want it to seem part of the spam by I assume is Sarah Symonds.

I did not realise that trying to report a spam in a webmaster forum would be miscontrued into me trying to promote anything.

If any user does have any ideas to STOP this spamming please let me know. Do google/yahoo spam reports work anymore?

All you have to do is locate the webhost of the site that spam directs to. You can find that by looking up the site mentioned in the spam at whois. Then report the spam to their webhost.
