Honestly, 2010 was just insane. The numbers tell the story better than we can, so we put together this little infographic.
That is quite amazing growth.
Even so, I still don't quite 'get it.'

I guess I didn't get Twitter at first, but now I do.
I've played with Foursquare and haven't found it compelling. Checking in is hampered by the difficulty of finding the exact venue you want. Virtually all of my friend requests have been from people I don't know who live on other continents. I don't see any value-add in connecting with people who will almost certainly never check into the same places I will.
