I have sites that allow no access outside of Western Europe and North America.
Keeps a lot of junk out. Permanently.
At the risk of derailing the topic for a minute, I'm sure there's a heap of us who would like to do the same, but I thought it wasn't that easy to do, - and that it wasn't done by IP blocking. Any info you can supply?
We're working to recover from a site outage and will update as we learn more.
Here we go again. I wonder what is going on this time? They had a Koobface worm attack over the weekend and of course the ongoing DDoS which is probably the core of the problem. :(
Okay, I expect to see @rogerdooley, @netmeg, @g1smd and a few others over here shortly. :)

I think I know what is happening too. I was the victim of 50+ #*$! Followers in the past 24 hours. Not only I, but many others. Me thinks someone is wreaking havoc on their platform again.
Twitter is down for the count right now. Apparently $100 million in funding isn't enough to fix the infrastructure that has been broken for who knows how long.
Twitter have had problems now for the past week. Fail Whale has been making regular appearances and I believe we have an entire Pod or two swimming about.
How long before those of us in the 10% who generate 90% of the Tweets find another fix?
