HA! The few members here that know my real last name will testify to it's extreme oddness, it's WAY better than anyone's in that article (better in terms of "WOW . . . is that your real name? Come on, you're kidding me!")

It's also on the banned list. I tried to sign up a few months ago and was rejected. At the time I just said screw it, the programmers here have a case of cranial-rectal collision and I didn't give it a second thought. Now it appears it's about policy. LOL . . . .

I just tried again, but this time sent an email to support.

I wonder if Blacksmith, Jones, and Smith have the same problems? LOL . . . .

The Up-side: basically through a few emails to FaceBook, *they* created the account for me using my real name. It only took a couple days, which is light speed compared to most organizations.

So there's hope for us with odd names. :-)
