After looking around and reading various posts, one in particular involving Pibs and his experience with phpfox i'm still no closer to finding a decent networking script..

the choices seem to be dzoic.com, phpfox.com, or socialengine.net

i've looked around for ages, but cant decide, then there's the fact that i'd like to implement phpbb and wordpress in replacement for their built in forums and blogs...

from the looks of it socialengine.net would be the best choice, but, i dont like the fact that it's not built with meaningful code so thats aload more work for me. there's tables plastered around the place too, and the lack of header tags isnt good seo..

dzoic could be a good option, but again, that would require massive amounts of work, more on the style side that the html side. also they charge for every little extra thing and the admin isnt very in depth...

does anyone have any recommendations?

thanks

there is a large thread somewhere which i read about a guy who brought it, but he said it was buggy and ended up getting his money back. quite a good read.

i'm thinking about going for socialengine.net it seems the best, but there's things i'm not happy with.. it's built with tables, it's not very semantic (hardly any use of header tags etc) doesnt have a plugin for wordpress, phpbb etc

but... it seems to be the best netherless
