Trying To Wrap My Head Around OpenSocial

Anyone here using it yet with AdSense?

I would love to watch the 57 mins video however it stops every 2-3 seconds for about 5-6 seconds and I just don't have that much time to waste!

Anyone know where the video can be downloaded?

[code.google.com...]

I see that some of the OpenSocial sites have AdSense on them already, does anyone know how they're performing?

Are you considering an OpenSocial site/network/whatever?

I can see a great business application for myself here however I really need to know more OR am I missing the plot completely?

If you like the idea of a Facebook app, then OpenSocial is a way to reach many of the other networks without developing for each one.

The constant stop-start annoyed me too - the way to get around it is to sart the video and then immediately pause it (it will buffer whilst paused), go away and do some work, come back later and unpause it...

Result: a video that plays smoothly.

Had anyone made a script that can be installed on your websites yet?

The api's are too abstract for me

To do that, you will have to implement the server side of the API on your website. As far as I know, there's no available open-source code for that yet.

Presumably, we will be seeing such code trickling-out for various CMSs, blog and forum software, platforms, etc. over the coming months.
