Hi I run two websites (non commercial but adsense supported) and I would like to start a forum to enable discusion about the items on either / or both sites.

I have experimented with software and will probably choose an open source one although I haven't decided which one as yet.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any website(s) with information on how to actually run a forum and gives hints or tips as to its daily operation, moderation and etc.?
