I've been running one of my phpBB forums since 2.0.0 and over 5 years. Since that time there has been some REALLY good threads that have very good information, and over time they just get buried and disappear.

So what I'm looking for is a way to organize these important threads, or maybe a way for an admin to mark it as "cool" or "important" as I've seen on other forum types. From there I wanted to have them setup like "Topics_Anywhere" to be served up on pages outside of the forum (this I'm assuming is something we'll develop).

So what I'm asking is, does anyone know of a good mod to mark sites as "cool" like I described? I seem to always strike out when searching the mods DB which never seems to stop growing, and I like to ensure it hasn't already been done before we reinvent the wheel.
