I know this is not a legal forum and I will not cry and say "but Joe at WebmasterWorld said so" if I get in trouble. I am merely asking what you guys think. My site will not high profile or anything of sort...just a country-online site where people--mods alone initially--will post videos. If sued, I'd go to court to file company bankruptcy before hiring a lawyer :)

YouTube vids are quite often rip offs themselves.

Do a youtube search for "fergie" for example, and you will see her hottness's video's in full. (just an example).

So, lots of whats on the "tube" is *already* a violation.

Check out how youtube handles copyright violations and you will get an idea.

What they seem to do nowadays is just wait for a complaint of infringment, then take it down.
