Expected growth rate of social networking site

Hi,

I'm just kicking off my social networking site and am curious what would be some realistic goals of a growth rate for a social networking type of site that is doing little in terms of paid marketing? Just curious on peoples thoughts on this.

Fsa3, I don't think there's an answer to that question. Without advertising, you could see almost any growth rate, from "none" to "really steep" if you can somehow get your idea to go viral. Be sure your site has easy-to-use and very obvious tools to invite new members, etc. Good luck with your launch.
