The Internet portal has purchased Mybloglog.com, an Orlando, Fla.-based website that enables readers of web pages to leave information about themselves, building a social network among fans of such things as News Corp’s MySpace pages, commercial web publications, or personal weblogs, or blogs. Mybloglog also looks at reader behavior inside blogs, like what is being read and where readers go next, delivering information it can sell to web advertisers.

Interesting, perhaps with Yahoo's marketing it will catch on more than it has.

I've read this several places and I've also read it is just a rumor and they are in preliminary negotiations...

I just blogged about them and a staff member stopped by to correct something I said. He never said anything about them being sold, but that wasn't what I was writing about...

i think it's a smart play by yahoo - and they got in early while it is relatively cheap. mybloglog is just starting to get traction

So I guess based on those evaluations, my phone should be ringing for either LOG.COM or my developed property WEBLOG.COM.
