I was in this web field and somewhere in 2004 (when blog was a buzz word) I could not resist exploring blog. I started with blogspot.com and that was my introduction to blogging but later on I bought my own domain.

I then installed few application to have my own blog but nothing was impressive enough. Later I came to know about wordpress and now I have a wordpress based blog with over 130 posts and 300 comments.

Now I getting more popularity as I have stated understanding blogosphere as a whole.

What is your story? How was you introduced to blogging?

I'll start... I started using blog software for simple CMS about six years ago. Then about four years ago I started a business blog for industry news. It wasn't until a year or two ago that I got into personal blogging - now I've got three with very different topics, and it's been a great experience.

When you are writing for public consumption, you are forced to think through your ideas more carefully. I find I get a real sense of satisfaction when I complete what I think is a particularly well-researched and tight post, and click "publish".

IMO The value of a blog = value of the blogger + the work done for the post.

Did you tried blogspot or wordpress?
