Hello,

What is the best way to bring site owners to drive traffic to a niche social network site? I thought of doing an affiliate program with pay per sign up but i figured it might be difficult to keep track of bots and also fake sign ups.

Calculating the lifetime value of a customer would also be difficult since it's hard to keep track of the lifetime pageviews generated by a typical customer that comes through a particular keyword. Any one knows of any software that can track the total lifetime pageviews of a customer from a certain keyword? if so , please sticky me. We intend to monetise via advertising by CPM.

What would you guys suggest in order to bring these site owners on board?

Thanks.

That's an interesting question... I'm not sure if there's an easy answer, though.

If your signups are paid, I wouldn't expect much of a bot problem. Few bots have valid credit cards...

I agree, too bad it's not paid.

Social network is still definitely in its infancy:)
